This wire from Shirbly came with no surprises - it was well packed and coiled in a bag and no damage anywhere. Ends were neatly wound so there isn't any loss of copper wire which can be annoying when dealing with such heavy gauge material - loss is expensive. It's reasonably flexibility because it is high strand count copper wire. With that said, these should be durable against the elements - but I would avoid constant water exposure just because they're not tinned. Very easy to use - just crimp on some lugs and you're good to go.

Insulation is really thick on these wires so may be less copper than real 6AWG? Not sure. These wires have a STRONG smell that smells like those massive extra large permanent markers. Hopefully the smell goes away, but its still there after a few days. Pretty good value for $20. Pretty flexible and looks to be real OFC copper.
