Very nice in a bigger size to really get a grip on things. Big anvil area for beating on and a rotating base to get the right alignment. What else could you want? Lean on it, beat on it, pry on it, etc. and it will keep coming back for more. Nice addition to my workbench replacing a smaller one that just didn't cut it.

This is a very nice vise! Good and heavy with plenty of travel. It operates smoothly and clamps tight! Very satisfied!

This is indeed quite a heavy duty vise in every sense of that phrase: It is literally about 40lbs. More importantly, it is one of those things you feel that your grandchildren will use also 50 yrs from now - it is very very solid. There is a little bit of sway and give as you extend the vise a good way out, but as you tighten in back in, it's steel hard. Swivel base is standard on this class of vises and, indeed, it's quite handy if you need to position it out of the way or if you need to turn it around to be able to use the anvil. The nice addition on this specific vise is the pipe/other object holder just below the main grip. This is extremely useful for working with smaller pipes. Overall this is a great product at a decent price with everything that's expected and more.

This is a good sturdy vice that bridges the gap between comically oversized for a home benchtop and too small to do everything needed. It came out of the box with a good layer of oil on it that had to be cleaned up but the good news is no chance of rust. Right away I noticed that there isn't any care in covering these with paint as evidenced by the overapplication on the slide and several big runs in it. The casting is decent and only had a few small imperfections. It's plenty sturdy and I don't have any concerns about it being able to handle anything I need to tighten down on. One thing I'd like a little different is the screws to lock the tilt in place. I'd like to see it not use multiple small ones and make use of something single and larger. It's fiddly to use two every time and I worry that they'll break off from an errant hammer blow. Also of note is a few degrees of play even when locked down and it appears to be some slop in the slide. The tilt itself is very easy to use and moves smoothly with the head being balanced enough that it doesn't completely flop over when loose. I like the variety of jaws especially the angles ones that will finally allow a good grip on round things that aren't tubes. Another thing that caught my attention here though was that the plates didn't come together completely aligned and had 1/16th to 1/8th offset. Not the end of the world but it does speak top the fit and finish of everything. Besides the few things I've mentioned it's not a bad vice and the perfect size and versatility of it make id a fair value for the price. It's already replacing my main garage vice with this one and its worth looking at if you're in the market.
