UPDATE: It stopped counting after 7 cycles. I removed it hooked it directly to 120VAC, and the counter has stopped working. Looks like I'm sending this back. I'm going to find one that's rated for 120V.I'm using the 220V model on my 120V AC washing machine to count the number of times it's used. To do that, I hooked it up to the motor that dispenses the fabric softener because it only turns on once per cycle. So far it has worked perfectly in that role counting 120V pulses. The pulse can be infinitely long because the counter only advances when power is removed. It has a reset button but it can be locked with a switch. I plan to cut short the reset button so that it isn't ever pressed though the lock should keep you from pressing it accidentally.
