This is a great choice if you are doing projects at home like myself. It's a simple way to keep yourself safe when working on the roof of a structure where wind or a slip can make things end badly for you. It's OSHA certified so it has my trust and although I haven't had need to test its abilities it's good to have it regardless.Until We Meet Again-Off the Grid Ken

This is a well made safety line. The hardwares are thick and strong while straps are tough and resilient. The self locking spring hook has double locking system where the smaller hinge lock gate must be squeezed in order for the larger main lock gate to open. It is secure and will not accidentally disengage the line or the hook. But it is still one hand operation with not much force required for operation. The self closing carabiner is also thick and easy to operate with one hand. Rotating the lock with two fingers and squeezing it to open and close is not difficult at all. I just wish it was little larger. The blue strap is easily extended if you pull slowly but if you pull hard suddenly it will stop like seat belt. It is well designed and well made with good materials. I feel I can trust my life on this line.

No way do I want to be tree trimming or roofing with an additional 6 lbs of material on my bodyI get it, safety is paramount (and required) in many hazardous work scenarios. And if I was a lineman or roughneck I might think the extra poundage was worth the hassle but in many cases I think adding this type of extra bulk/weight is apt to cause more issues than it remedies.Aside from that these are well thought out and quality built.I look forward to convincing someone I know to fall off my roof while wearing them so I can see how they actually work ; )

THis lifeline is very well made. All components feel heavy duty and ready to keep me safe. Being self retracting will make it easier to use as well. This is designed for users between 130 and 310 pounds, so most people would have no issues using this. I like that it is also OSHA compliant.

These are very heavy-duty, solid protection. These are solidly made, especially the hooks that would take the most pressure. Judging by the build, I do believe this would catch a falling adult without issue. It's fairly easy to put on, and while it adds a good bit of weight, it's worth it for the safety. With a tree to cut soon, this will be very welcome equipment to climb with. These came very solidly packed, which is a good thing as they're extremely hefty. They also came with a storage bag, though with how heavy these are, you might find that a bit too light duty for storage.

This lifeline feels incredibly sturdy and well-built. While I haven’t had the chance to use it yet, I can tell it’s heavy-duty and designed with safety in mind. The retractable feature is smooth, and the twin steel locking hooks give me confidence that it will hold up under pressure. I appreciate how easy it is to adjust and set up, making it a reliable choice for fall protection.

This is a very sturdy dual retracting lifeline fall protection. Came with a very well-padded box, very fancy. Includes a bag too.Easy to use and not too heavy. Retracts well for up to six feet. Good construction and material. Well worth the money for the safety of anyone who need to use this.
