I wanted something small and subtle, the auxbeam is much higher quality but the switch panel is huge.I liked everything about this one except the quality of the switch panel. If you don't push the buttons in perfectly straight it catches a corner and gets stuck. I have to pry the switch back out with my pocket knife.When the switch is on, the color change on the button goes from green to yellow and is so subtle its hard to tell when something is on during the day.

After running wires in firewall and to battery it all when down hill after that! Found the eye hooks on power side loose so replaced with new one that I had. Then the six way switch box was sticking when you pushed any of them. Final was that a fuse in box would not hold fuse it kept pushing fuse up and lose power for the switch. So after hrs of install had to remove it all. Not happy with it at all. Pure junk! Looked good in the box is all I can say for it sent back for refund

This kit for all 12V systems comes with a remote backlighted switch panel (six buttons) that feeds to a fused block (1@ 30 Amps, 3 @ 30 Amps , 2 @ 20 Amps) of relays (6 @ 40 Amps each). There is a high quality wiring harness to interconnect the panel to the block and the block to the loads to be switched. There is also a panel mounting bracket as well as mounting hardware. The switch panel comes with 24 interchangeable switch covers with of variety of common devices and icons. Wiring is clearly labeled and connection points come with pre-installed crimp butt connectors that also make the install neat and easy. I used this to wire up some accessories on my boat. Love the clean look of the remote switch panel on my dashboard and the fuse/relay block is easily accessible from underneath. Can be used on any vehicle, boat or RV.Would recommend this to anyone.

Sat on this for months before fitting; main fuse/relay box mounted in seat box adjacent to the battery.All in all this was easy installation and worked well. The only gripe I have, and these are small, relate to the 6-button controller:Labels are somewhat universal and vague, a little more specific would make life easier, but they don’t know where this is going so they did their best.Colour difference from on and off is a shade of green, not really that much. Red to green would have been great,That said, works well, looks good and is installed in my Defender and all the lights work!

This seems to be a pretty decent PDM so far. Easy to hook up and works good. The switches are On/Off and stay switched even after turning the power off... so when the power is turned back on the switch is still in the same position it was when turned off.

Full disclosure: I cut the control panel out entirely and wired the relays to a custom circuit so that I can control from my phone, so take my rating with a grain of salt.- The box itself is sturdy ABS plastic, no complaint there.- The mounting bracket it came with was a little awkwardly shaped for my 2017 4Runner so I did not use it but it seemed sturdy too.- I did not ever use the control panel itself but just handling it, it felt cheap and the buttons rattled in their housing. The solder points for the wire were also quite loose; it didn’t take much effort to pull one off with a slight bend, so I imagine that they could come loose with vibration or during installation if you’re not careful.- Wires on the underside of the relays were a spaghetti mess crammed into the bottom cap. That being said, they were VERY secure connections.Overall I think this would be great for a UTV or go-kart, but if you’re planning on using this in a vehicle right out of the box? IMO, go with something that has a nicer control panel

I purchased it in May of 2021 but did not get to use it until after the return window had expired. I like everything about it. Right up to the moment that one button stopped working.Towards the end of our first outing with our side-by-side the button that was powering my pumper system for my helmet stopped working. It later worked again. Then this last weekend same button gave up altogether. I checked all the fuses even swapped one of the relays. In the end I had to switch my pumper to another circuit.Leaving this review because I can't find a way to contact the seller so it seems the only way I'm going to be able to get the control panel exchanged.Update 10-14-21.Quite some time ago after writing this original review I found and solved the issue. I found that It was not the control panel but one of the female plugs for the relay was being pushed back out of place. I pushed it back in and held it in place as I put the relay back in and it has worked fabulously ever since. Sometime later I did have the same issue with another relay (One that I had taken out to swap to see if it was the problem), and at that point knew exactly what to do.Two constructive comments I have are:1. Too many useless stickers. A better choice of stickers to put on the buttons would be great. There were no sticker choices for my backup camera and my radio/communication system. So for those chosen buttons I had to write on the switch panel with a permanent marker that's not so permanent.2. The colors on the panel are yellow to indicate the panel is powered and a lime green when there is power to your accessory. These are hard to see in the daylight. Different color choices for off and on that are more visible in the daytime would be great.These are momentary switches. So, you press on the button and it comes right back to its original position with only the color of the light behind it changing. There's no way at a glance to see if it's on or off.In the photos provided you can see the button I was referring to that I had a problem with that is now fixed and how conveniently the six button gang switch fits in the available space in my buggy.Just want to say that I recently saw a photograph of a buggy that had mounted their gang switch to the center of their steering wheel. That's an interesting idea that I would consider if my steering wheel was not removable.
