Most frustrating install of a door hinge ever! Next to impossible to adjust. Cheap hardware easily strips out after only a couple of times putting screws in and out, and you will have to take these on and off multiple times. “Locking” the adjustment screws is non existent as they are easily pulled loose if the door is not perfectly aligned which is next to impossible. I spent too much time trying to get these adjusted, and didn’t pay attention to how long I had to return them, missing my return window. I’m now stuck throwing them in the garbage and wasting the excessive price they cost. For near 4 times the cost of these hinges, a professional cabinet shop told me, with no guarantee, they would “attempt” to install them. Bottom line, these hinges are a very poor choice for your project. Don’t waste your money as I have by purchasing these.

Impressed with the quality of these hinges. You have to carve out 1 inch slots for these in both the frame and the door. They include a drill bit and show someone using a hand drill to make the slots in the instructions. I don't see how you are going to do it that way without ruining everything. You will definitely need a router so you can set the depth. I did multiple passes, going deeper on every pass until I got the required depth. The hardest part of this is measuring the slots on the frame/door and then doing the cutting.

Save yourself some trouble. The Tambee hinges are the same as the Lipshome hinges (at least for the 7 inch hinges). Even down to the weight. Each hinge weighs exactly 765 grams. The faint markings on the connectors of the hinges are the same too.The 7" Mengshi hinges are mislabeled. They are 6 inch hinges with a 133 lbs load rating according to the label on the box. The 7" Tambee are rated 177 and the 7" Lipshome are 175. The discrepancy is probably due to a conversion variation from kgs, as these hinges are likely both made in China. The Lipshomehinges come with a 28mm forstner bit and two shims that Tambee lacks. The only difference with the Tambee is that two of the 8 hinge covers (4 for each hinge) have a Tambee label and the kit comes with one extra hex wrench set for adjustment.

This comes with the drill bit required to install the product, which was very helpful, though it still took a while for me to install The ability to make minor adjustments is invaluable. All in all, fantastic product.

Hinges look good but didn’t hold up. They broke in less than a month after being installed in a hidden door. We paid to get these installed and now have to pay a second time for removal, new hinges, routing of new hinges and installation.Save yourself time and money- look elsewhere for quality hinges. Unfortunately, I’m past my return window because we didn’t get them installed immediately and missed the 30 day return window.Have never had hinges bust like this before. Photos are for reference to show where hinges broke and where the door broke away from frame.
