Usihg this as a makeshift fume extraction for welding in my garage. Works well, moves enough air to remove most of the fume. It does not beat a professional setup but for occasional home use (with PPE) it is enough for my needs.I like the speed control. For my use case I will use it at full speed most of the time but it's good to have the ability to reduce it if I ever want to make less noise.Speaking of noise, I find it reasonable for the amount of air it moves. Definitely not a jet engine but also more noisy than a computer fan for sure.It feels sturdy, I think it will last a while. Time will tell. For now it's solid and as expected. i think it would do well for other application such as grow tents, 3D printing fume extraction, or even laser fume extraction.

We only gave this fan a test run so far, but first impressions are promising. It moves a solid amount of air and didn’t sound like a jet engine, which is a win in my book. The plan is to use it in our high tunnel, circulating air through underground tubing to help with temperature control. It’s always a bit of a gamble with stuff like this, but it feels solid out of the box.

Quality fan with great airflow. Works very well. However you can find cheaper out there at the hydro store. It's pretty quiet, and easy to use. But again. You can find cheaper ones

Fan is good. Doesn’t produce a huge sound. Good air flow. Adjustable speed. Helps circulate the air in my grow tent nicely. Can be used to also pull out the hot air as well. Good price. It’s built good as well.

The 6-Inch Inline Duct Fan with Speed Controller is a versatile and efficient ventilation solution. With 282 CFM airflow, it moves a solid amount of air while staying ultra-quiet at 62.8dB—noticeable but not disruptive. The 37W energy-efficient motor keeps power consumption low, making it a great long-term option. While it’s designed for grow tents, hydroponics, and exhaust ventilation, it works well for various applications. I’m currently using mine to push heat from my PC out the window, and it’s working like a charm. The adjustable speed controller is a nice touch, allowing for precise airflow control depending on the setup. At $49.99, it’s a solid value for a quiet, powerful, and adaptable inline fan. If you need effective airflow management, this one is definitely worth considering.

The 6" Exhaust Fan for grow tents seems to be a good fan. It measures just under 6" in diameter and a bit over 7" long. The plug has a variable speed switch on it that allows for fine tuning of the fan speed. I didn't have a way to measure, but the claim of 282CFM seems realistic. The noise output from the fan is good considering the airflow. All in all, this seems like a good fan that has strong airflow. You will not want to have it in your bedroom, but in a garage or other area where you are growing plants, it should work well. For the cost, it seems like a good value.
