I couldn't be more pleased with this little vent cover.I actually used it in my bathroom to cover the hole for the 4" bathroom exhaust. I have a remote fan in the attic, with just a round start collar in the ceiling, to which a duct attaches. This makes my exhaust extremely quiet, but I did need a cover for the 4" round inlet, and this cover was perfect.I would also use this as a supply grill or outlet. It is easily adjustbable, just by turning the center, which lowers or raises the center portion. It has "wings" that flexible, so you simply rotate as you push up and the friction holds it in place. You CAN screw the center out, if you wish, to clean inside the duct. It's just a perfect little cover.

It arrived broken since it was shipped in a plastic bag with heavier items. The center of the damper where it is supposed to be adjustable was cracked rendering it useless but the plastic molding overall was very thin. I have others made of plastic, aluminum and powder coated steel and magnets (my favorite).The plastic ones need to be light weight on the damper so they function with differential pressure. This doesn't appear to function with the exhaust of my shop vacuum.The body was so thin I wouldn't have installed it even if it wasn't broken.
