the female plug on this that goes to the harness side is incorrect. i ended up cutting this and splicing the sensor plug onto the harness.

Does what it’s supposed to. Used a couple of them with no issue.

Bought for use with a Holley 3 bar map sensor and the alignment tab didn't match the harness so I plugged in upside down and flipped the outside wires.

The plug does not directly fit the MAP sensor plug on my Holley Gen 3 24x harness. The adaptor is for a CAM sensor which looks very similar to a crank/map sensor. Most other brands of adaptors have this same problem. The issue is the alignment pins on the adaptor don't fit the MAP sensor plug on the wiring harness. I removed said alignment pins with pliers and a knife, the two ends plug together now and everything runs as it should.
