I was apprehensive to purchase these, but the price was right and I figured I could always tweak them to make them work. My gut was right, the elastic bands are too long, which means they don’t keep the diaper in place very well. I wish there was a sizing option when purchasing them. For my small waisted, 20 lb 15 month old, I’d need at least three more rows of hook and eyes to fasten tightly. My other complaint is that it would be nice if the elastic had some sort of coating to protect it from becoming damp from pee. So, I’m going to adjust the waist band by an inch and see if I can add a backing myself. Not even a minute after taking these pictures the diaper was completely off. I would normally have a cover over too, but the elastic band would have still slipped out of place and I would have a mess to deal with later.
