I am impressed with these sand bags. They are perfect in size and weight for my little beach umbrella.Although I only needed 1 bag, I'm glad I have extras for other items. What I like most about these sand bags are that they come with sturdy ziploc type bags which is where you put the sand, gravel, or whatever substance you are using for weight. Then the plastic bags slides inside the durable black cover. My other larger weighted bags do not have this feature. I just had to fill the cover itself with sand. They have velcro straps to attach the bag to the item you are weighing down. It also comes with 4 clips that can also be used. I read other reviews that complain these hooks are cheaply made, this is true, but I feel other ones are also cheaply made and I've never had one break on me. For the weight intended for the bags to hold, these caribeaners are just fine.I like that they are not super heavy and easy to transport to the beach, park, etc. They are perfect for my needs.

The photo is deceiving, they are much larger than the photo shows. They are in fact, 12" long, by 10" wide. I bought them to be weights for sewing patterns. But, this is on me for not fully reading the description. They seem well made, they come with four plastic storage bags that don't seem to be durable. They also come with four hooks. Since I will not be using them for their intended purpose, they will be perfect for hiking/camping.

Nice and solid, no threads popping loose and holding up well. I'm using mine indoors to act as a way to keep a tent popped up without the use of stakes in the ground. It's definitely going to last well to that and it's more than sturdy enough to handle much more. There isn't any way to lock the zipper or a cover around it so I can see water getting in through there. Awesome crocodile clips, very tight and sturdy but also not a big problem to get open. All around they're great!

These bags were a lot larger than I expected, but that's on me for not reading the dimensions. I can see how it would be useful to keep down a boat cover. I'm using them to hold down a pool cover for an inflatable ring pool, so they're a bit overkill. They come with plastic bags so you don't have to get the fabric bags dirty. I filled mine about 1/3 of the way full with rocks. There are clips, which is what I use, and carabiners. The carabiners aren't attached, so you can use them for something else if you don't need them.

I bought these to help secure our sailboat cover in the winter, they are also useful to help with sewing projects or templating while on the dock when I need an extra set of "hands". This sand-bag kit includes four water-resistant bags with carabiner s, and plastic baggies. Each zippered pouch has a plastic buckle and alloy metal tarpaulin clip. The weak points of this product are the carabiner, plastic buckle, and tarpaulin clips.I am unimpressed by the durability of the carabiner and I question the strength these, they are low quality. I have my reservations about the ability of the tarpaulin clips to hold weight under stress. The plastic buckles are small and time will tell if they will hold up to UV and the weight of sand and wind stress. Further testing is recommended to verify the performance of these components in extreme weather conditions. Overall, this kit should be a good option for small tasks and securing items in place for projects. Just make sure you test them before trusting the fully to expensive items like 40' sailboat covers.Pros:These are Water-resistant marine-grade canvas bags, Includes carabiners and polyethelene plastic baggies, and are Used to secure boat covers and tarps. My concerns: The carabiner are not heavy-duty and I fear they are not strong enough to withstand storms with high winds. In addition, the tarpaulin clips need to be tested under stress to ensure they can hold 8 pounds of weight, I will test these this winter when I place the sailboat cover on the deck.

4 Pack Boat Cover Sand Bag - Zipper Boat Sand Bag Kit Windproof Weight Sandbags Weights Marine Grade Sandbags for Boat Mooring Covers Sand Bag, FC202401I don't have a boat but the way these bags work seem a very good option for what I had in mind, which was adding some extra weigh to a canopy I use during my garage sales. It gets pretty windy so adding water and attaching them to the canopy helped add a bit more weight to it so it doesn't fly away.
