I got these metal fire extinguisher mounts for my ‘collection’ of fire extinguishers. Well, not really a collection, but I do have a number of them scattered around the house and garage. Many are just sitting on the floor, a shelf, or on the flimsy, plastic mount that came with the extinguishers. I like these because they are metal and they will hold up to most any abuse. The glossy, red paint feels durable so should keep them good-looking and easily found. They attach well to the wall with the provided hardware. But unlike the plastic ones that come with the extinguishers, the extinguishers are not ‘captured’ on these mounts – they are only held on by gravity contained by the slightly upward bent ends of the mount prongs. To keep them from falling off easily, I use a small – very small – nylon wire ties to hold them on. These small ones can be broken easily when the extinguisher needs to be removed for use.The price of this set of 6 mounts – at the time of this review is $16, or just over $2.50 each. Since this puts 6 of my fire extinguishers safely of the wall but ready to use, then I think this is a very, very good price.

This don't fit my Kidde fire extinguishers (one I keep near my grill and one I keep in my kitchen; both of which I bought at home depot . . . standard stuff.)

This 6 pack of fire extinguisher mounting brackets comes with the fasteners needed for most installations. We simply screwed these into wood posts. The extinguishers hang on the brackets exactly as expected.

Had to update a rental condo with fire extinguishers that now needed to be secured to a mount and these worked out great. They had all the installation parts, and was super easy to install and effectively held the fire extinguisher.

Install is straight forward with washers and screws. Fair warning, the screws that come with it are junk. The first one I tried to install sheared off at the head. The hangers themselves are solid. They didn't work as intended for me as my fire extinguishers have a different neck. I was still able to get it to work, but it's not as stable as it would be with the correct neck size.

These brackets are well-made and come complete with mounting screws, making installation a breeze. However, they only fit dry powder and water extinguishers with neck diameters of less than 1 inch. Be sure to purchase the correct size fire extinguisher; otherwise, it won't be worth the investment.
