perfect - saved a damaged tree when ropes were terrible for the tree.

They have worked great for about 3-4 months and then they deteriorated, they're inexpensive but a pain - no more.

Need to pay attention to dimensions.I assumed the 16 inches was from center to center of each grommet thus could be used between wall studs.Won't work for my application, but might come in handy at some later date/project.

I have two apple trees that I planted about 6 years ago in my backyard and they do get quite a lot of wind on them year round. We had one especially windy day a couple weeks ago that bent over both trees. I bought these straps, and used two per tree to keep them upright and supported. I ran paracord through the grommets and tied the cord to a t-post I pounded into the ground. Just make sure you don’t tie the cord too tight since the tree still needs to sway in the wind a bit to build strong roots. I have a couple spares if needed. Straps are pretty solid built. Time will tell how they hold up. I’d recommend.

The width is what I needed to support a leaning tree. The steel grommets are a plus. No amount of wind is going to rip this material.

Seem well built and worked as intended. Had to find something to keep them tied, but not unexpected and I will update the review if they fall apart in the sun in an unreasonable timeframe.

Well made and protects the tree branch when tying it back to the trunk of the tree.
