The bags are nice and thick which keeps the dust contained. I've always liked bag vacuums as you throw away the dirt, dust ,filter and start fresh every time. Kinda like a Kleenex vs a handkerchief.

I think these are not the "brand name" bags, but they are just as effective. Easy to put in and change out. The material does feel a bit thinner than the "on brand" bags, but it's insignificant. I 100% recommend these.

I still have a half-empty official Hoover bag in my vacuum. I bought these unofficial bags and then compared one of the bags against the official Hoover bag. There was, I noted, a small difference in the bags. The cardboard wings on the official Hoover bag are in a different position than the unofficial Hoover bags. So since the bags did not match exactly, I removed the half-empty bag, and then checked if the unofficial Hoover bag would fit. It *did*. I then put back the half-empty back. I checked this out because if the new bags did not fit, I had to return them within the 30 day return window. Since they fit, I will not be returning them.Will these unofficial Hoover bags work as well as the official ones? My guess is that there will no difference.Frankly, I have 10 of these replacement bags, and they are going to last a long, long time. So I am pretty happy with this purchase.
