Lovely but thin. Too thin for my current candlesticks!

I love these candles! I got some black taper holders sometime back and they just didn't look right with colored candles in them. When I saw these and the fact that the pack contained both spiral and straight tapers, I had to try them. First thing I noticed is that they are a true black which I really appreciate. They are a standard thickness for taper candles. They don't make a mess with candle wax dripping everywhere and they seem to burn for quite some time. At just over a dollar per candle, I think these are great buy! I would definitely buy them again.

These aren't super sturdy and do burn fast compared to other tapers, but they worked well to celebrate Jesus our God and Savior's coming to earth as a baby to rescue us from death and free us from sin with His own life! They light easily and burn fast and bright.

Nice, classic, taper candles. If you want some candles for a traditional feel, these are a nice choice. They are made well, they aren't flimsy and they have a good weight to them. The wick isn't a cheap wick which means they burn nice and slow. The wax doesn't run down everywhere. They can drip a bit, depending on where you burn them. Drafts can affect that as well as how long you burn them at a time. I don't think any candle is truly dripless. The beeswax and soy mean that they aren't releasing a bunch of chemicals in the air. I like them.

I never thought I would have to write a poor review for taper candles, yet here we are. This set of 6 regular taper and 6 spiral taper candles from Sihuida did not hold up to my expectations of taper candles at all. I am only giving them a star rating above one because they did very well with the purple color. It is quite saturated and pretty.Other than the color, the candles are a total bust. The entire set I received arrived with at least one crack in each candle so none of them are stable. I used wax from another candle to mend the cracks (not pretty, but stabilized the candles) so I could burn them and see how they burn. They are definitely NOT dripless. I burned my test candles in a draft free room and they were still the drippiest candles I have had in quite some time. Thankfully I had them over scrap paper so they didn't ruin any surface. The candles also did not burn either 7-8 hours or 5-6 hours per the product listing. The spiral candles lasted for 2 hours and the tapers lasted about 2 1/2.Unless you just want cracked candles to look at in your candle holders, I would pass on these. There are plenty of better brands out there.

I got these for free for an Amazon Vine review and chose to review them because frankly, I love candles. There are people who love electricity and technology and all the things that it brings, and then there’s some people who love their candles. That’s me, I am some people. I have tons of candles and candle holder everywhere.I chose this 12-pack of black candles (6 spiral, 6 regular) because I didn’t have any black yet, and I have to say—these candles are the goth cousins of the candle world. Either that or the colonial… I have yet to decide. The spiral ones look like they’re ready to perform some dark magic or star at an art exhibit somewhere (the curve of the lines is that perfect), while the regular ones just exude that "I’m here to set the mood, but in a very chic, understated way" vibe. Maybe even coffee house chic if your coffee house had some really cool decor and art. They burn evenly, last a good long while, and they don’t drip too much, which I appreciate. If you’re hosting a dinner party, having a self-care evening, or just pretending you're in a noir film, these candles will add in some elegance and spooky flair. 10/10 would recommend if you're into classy artistic vibes.

Great taper candles. Love the color and they burn as well as any similar candles.
