These LC to LC adapter works fine. Nothing really special about them, but they do a great job connecting two fiber jumpers together. We use them at work for temporally joining fiber together when we have power outages and need to keep the fiber intact. They work for single-mode (9/125μm) installations. The connections snuggly snap in place and have zero "noticeable" loss. There are blue flanges on the side that locks in the fiber jumpers firmly in place and will not accidentally disconnect.The zirconia sleeves are very durable and hold up well after repeated use—I’ve done several installs already with no performance drop. Best of all, it’s tool-free, so swapping fiber cables is quick and easy. This is great for DIY or professionals. The adapters/connectors come in a nice plastic carrying case.
