A little flimsy, but there's no other option available, so I give 4 stars. I don't know why there aren't more hangers with fully rounded shoulders as these have, but made of a stronger material. Anyway, these are okay, they may hold up for several years, and they do an excellent job of holding light to medium weight jackets and sweaters, without putting a dent in the fabric or otherwise distorting the shape.

Hangers should love your clothes as much as you do. They shouldn’t pull at the shoulders and ruin the drape of the fabric. These hangers round out the shoulders nicely in anticipation of making you look good.

If you’re looking for something heavy duty these aren’t it. If you have heavy clothing and looking for something to hang it on this isn’t it. They are wide but very flimsy m.

I was going for cost. The velvet covering is all over the hanger and really works for keeping the article of clothing on! The material itself is thin but seems sturdy enough. I have some very heavy coats and they are holding up (pun intended)! Pay special attention to the shape. I saw a couple that looked like they curved one direction more than another. So far so good! I’d buy these again.

I wanted some nonslip hangers and I also wanted some with this type of shoulder that would keep everything smooth on my sweaters. Especially with the long sweaters that I have. I had tried some other ones and they were slick and not nonslip at all. These are really nice. They seem solid. I’m glad I found these.

Update: the hangers break very easily. This morning when I tried to reach for shirt on the shelf of my wardrobe I pushed myself only slightly against the hanger and it snapped very easily. I thought it might’ve only been one defective and tried to pull another hanger lightly and that broke too. These hangers turned out to be terribly flimsy on the screws and cheap brittle plastic. As you can see the hanger itself broke not the screw.When I received my package it was already damaged, had this huge dent inside. It’s funny because this box was inside a bigger amazon box and it still somehow came damaged from the manufacture and not Amazon this time, as the Amazon box outside looked fine.There’s supposed to be 12 hangers in my order but I only received 9 and have 1 broken one in the package. So I’m missing 3 of the hangers and have 1 broken. So I only have 8 usable hangers.The actual “good” hangers itself was nice though, the hangers have a velvet exterior so it’s soft and grippier than a regular plastic hanger.The hangers are also straighter than a regular plastic hanger as those are slanted like a triangle. This hanger sort of has a natural shoulder shape, which is really nice for hanging clothes. As it doesn’t create extra drag and doesn’t let your clothes stretch. So i actually like the hangers itself.I’m just disappointed with the service and missing products. I can’t necessarily return or ask Amazon to refund me because I do need to keep my clothes organized and hanging in my closet so I don’t have to create a mess in my closet or room. I already threw out my old hangers and am stuck with this set of 8.I’d say buy them because they’re pretty nice, but make sure they’re shipped well and you have all your item/hangers before throwing out your old ones.
