These baffles were perfect, they have a larger lip around the outside to help cover any imperfections from a cut hole in drywall, they are easy to install and remove if needed and they are very premium I'm not sure what to they are made of but it feels like steel and the finish is beautiful and is protected well by the packaging. I would recommend and purchase again!!

I ordered in one box of 6 of these to work through going to a normal 4" BR20 instead of a 4"->GU16 conversion (small head with a glass lens and much larger baffle area). I ran into two issues:If the socket has very little slack wire in the can, it can be a significant challenge to get the baffle up far enough to clip the socket in, but still have room to manipulate the socket so the clips align and put enough pressure on to fully seat the clip. This is more an issue with the can wiring than this baffle, but it affects the install and should be considered (still, I'm not going to dock stars from the baffle for a can problem). My solution to this was to use a loop of string around the socket and behind the clips, and then use the string to pull the socket into position in the clip of the baffle. It takes a little patience, but is a very workable solution even with fairly short wires to the socket. The other issue was in the clips that create the friction mount into the can. Unlike the baffles I've used with 6" cans (which use a pinch clip approach), these use a fairly rigid, but just flexible enough metal friction clip. They fit pretty tight, and thus hold well, but If the can has any defects, excess paint, or screws that are positioned inconveniently, you'll need to be very careful aligning where the friction clips on the baffle insert into the can.Overall, 5 out of the 6 were perfect in finish, and the 6th was very easily in the "good enough" category, with a very minor blemish that was functionally invisible once installed.Overall, it was a solid install and tremendously good value.

I purchased these for our bathroom. I needed 4 but the price was good so I bought the box of 6. Out of the 6 in the box, 2 of the trims had obvious blemishes (dark spots in the paint...not completely painted white). Another 2 were not perfect but not as bad. Out of the 6 maybe 2 actually looked decent. I was able to find 4 that worked because once installed, the slightly blemished ones were ok because the blemishes are pretty hard to see when they are a couple feet over your head. Still, no excuse, poorly made (they can't get them solid white?!) I guess you get what you pay for.

Product is fine - 5 stars. However, we ordered it and the contractor didn't get to the work until just last week. Apparently won't work for our application. When I opened up the return options, I was informed the product is ineligible for return. Apparently Tamsmart has a 30 day return policy, even though the order was fulfilled by Amazon. This was not clear when I ordered the product. Very, very disappointing - 1 star. So net, 3 stars.

I bought 12 of these for a big living room kitchen lighting project. These look great! They are much less expensive and just as nice as the ones you buy at the big box stores. I am actually going to buy 6 more. The black housing at the top is very easily removable and that is what I did. The clips on the side clip nicely and easily into the light. I recommend these highly.

Good product, only problem is the ring that secures the trim to the horn is loose and has to be reassembled. A few has been secured with hot melt glue and mfg should do the same on all units.
