Good solid rings for holding a cargo net. Does exactly what I need them to do.

The plastic deformed and slipped right off the screw head upon first use. The screws that come with the tiedown anchors are only 3/8 inch long and have very small screw heads. I purchased half-inch screws with larger screw heads thinking that would better hold them to the 1/2” MDF but the plastic still failed—ie. the tension from the bungee cord pulled the D-ring and its plastic base right off the screws. (The screws remained solidly in the half-inch board but the plastic base deformed and slipped right off the screws on its first use.) These D-ring tiedown anchors are completely useless, unless perhaps you only need to tie down a piece of paper. I was only tying down an empty plastic box with a bungee cord as a quick fitment test after installing them. Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra dollars on steel anchor points.

The holders for the D-rings are plastic and the screws that come with it are SHORT! It would probably be fine for sheet metal, but not for mounting on wood or drywall. I countersunk the holes and got longer screws. They looked ok once they were mounted.

These are small and lightweight. They'll do the trick for very light loads. You're not putting any real tension on these. The screws that mount the base are about 1/3" long, so not even long enough to be secured to whatever you screw them into. The bases are about 1" long x 3/4" wide, the rings aren't much smaller /bigger.Just know that these won't hold any real weight as packaged
