We had an activity in our school where we were supposed to pretend to be a TV anchor in the field and needed pretend microphones so we ordered these. They are oversized and goofy for even adult hands, so when we gave them to the preschoolers, it was comical and so adorable. The handle is just like a thick plastic and whatever the top is made of is scratch resistant. These were dropped (and thrown unfortunately), but they stayed in one piece and you wouldn't know what they went through. I wish they were a little be less expensive because I feel like I could have gotten like a 5 pack of them for $5 or something at a party store, but they worked perfectly for us. I think the listing photo advertising them for camping trips and stage performances is a bit weird, but they are fun fake mics that served their purpose for make-believe. Better than a hairbrush for sure.

I purchased these as a prop for my NYE karaoke party. I can say they are quite sturdy as they are made from what seems like PVC pipe and hard plastic. But they aren't nearly as cute as thought they would be. The silver part isn't really glittery and don't have quite the detail the photos show. I think I could have made these myself with some PVC and a ball.
