What can I say!? I would not order those again, but they were too cheap for me to start a return and drive to a UPS store. Not worth the hassle.At first, they wouldn’t fit. Then, I tried them upside down, you know? Think counterintuitively. I don’t have an image to share now because it’s been some months I did it and I’m at a waiting room writing reviews. But long story short, if you already ordered them, turn the ring the other way and you won’t end up with six pieces of garbage on your hands.

I'm sure these lamp-shade holders function fine as lamp-shade holders, but I bought them for my cat. We ordered a couple of lamps that came with extra lamp-shade holder rings, which I threw on the floor for the cats to play with. The one cat who isn't much of a "player," played with them non-stop. Morning? Swiping them across the floor. Afternoon? Swiping them across the floor. Night? Swiping them across the floor until we put them away because we wanted to sleep.

The description and the image both say the inner diameter of the ring is "1.3 inch (32mm)". But 1.3 inch is not 32mm, it's 33mm. I measured the inside diameter as 1-1/4 inch (1.25 inch) which is 32mm. I still have the ring that came with my lamp (I bought these rings because I needed a second ring to hold a shade from both sides), and that original ring has an inside diameter that I measured to be 1-5/16 inch (1.31 inch, 33mm). I thought the discrepancy in the description between 1.3 inch and 32mm must have been a rounding error, but apparently those are two different ring sizes that both exist, and the rings sold here are the smaller of those two, and my lamp uses the larger of those two. The outside diameter of my socket (including threads) is 1-3/8" (35mm). Measure your socket precisely before buying rings.

Good news, the inner and outer dimensions of this ring fit my lamp, unfortunately, the thread pitch is too short, and I cannot screwed onto my lamp. See photo.
