Super cute! I used these to hold up clippings I am working to root and they just add that little bit of fun. They were a little hard to get onto the rims of the glass containers I used but just a little bit of work they were fine. They won't work on thicker planters and terra cotta pots.

I’m doing a few aquaponic experiments to propagate some of my houseplants, and the problem I keep having is that top-heavy stems tend to droop and fall over the edge of the jar, ultimately ending up on the floor. These little guys are a near-perfect solution! They keep the plant stems from falling out and look pretty adorable doing it. I bought another pack for the rest of my plant cuttings! They do have a few limitations to keep in mind:1. The slit on their “butt” is VERY narrow and will really only fit on thin drinking glasses, which would make me a little nervous about shattering the glass while trying to fit the little guy on there. I’m using them on large jars with thicker glass and had to cut a sliver of the rubber from the bottom slit to make them fit better. Even the 2mm-thick glass was too thick to easily get them to fit, and I couldn’t get them to fit on the 5mm glass at all. Luckily the rubber cuts easily with scissors or a sharp knife, so you can make this adjustment as needed.2. These are best used with straight-sided glasses. If your vessel has a narrower opening than the diameter of the rest of it (like a mason jar), the little guys might lean forward slightly because their feet can’t touch the walls. Even so, they’re still holding on, it just looks a little precarious.3. Best for lightweight or rigid plant cuttings. I only have some Pothos and Tradescantia cuttings in there right now, and some of the larger vines make the little guys lean to the side where they can easily be bumped and knocked off. They don’t have a super strong grip on the glass in terms of side-to-side movement.4. The arms and legs are not adjustable, which means larger or heavier plant stems might slip out of their rubbery grasp. It would be REALLY helpful if they had a wire armature inside so that you could adjust them to hold the plant stems tighter. Shouldn’t be an issue for rigid plant cuttings, since they will support some of their own weight.

Cute little guys, but their legs will only grip something VERY thin. I was hoping they might be able to sit on the edge of thin-walled pots to support my houseplants that are already soil rooted... alas, that was clearly a no-go. But even when using them for cuttings rooting in water, I had to test out a few different water glasses and jars to find one that had thin enough glass that the little dude would fit onto the rim. Sinsetu, please make these with a little more room in their backside! LOLHowever, still giving 4 stars because you can also just poke their legs into the soil in your pots, so that's how I'm using them. Currently one little dude is holding up a drooping plant stem; one is helping support a thin moss pole that is supporting my climbing plant, and one is just chilling beneath the shade of the leaves of my pothos.

This review is for the SINSETU Plant Propagation Friends, 3 Pcs Plant Cutting Holder Support for Shoots, Stems and Sprouts, Plant Growth Tool for Indoor Garden (Green). $5.99The SINGETU plant holder supports are adorable and highly effective. My family is using these plant holders to support basil trimmings in small vases so that roots can grow. These plant holders make it possible to hold the trimmings in more optimal positions, and they are really cute, like tree nymphs helping out! Something you should consider is that these plant holders are designed to be mounted on the edges of cups that are less than 1/8” thick, so it is not easy to mount them on vases with thicker material.

Easy to use plant propagation! They fit onto most of my propagation cups without issue!

I wanted to love this item and give it 5 stars, but unfortunately there are a couple flaws with these that make them almost useful. For one, the price is very reasonable for the amount of items you are getting. They're defenitely cute and when they work well, they look super cute with the plants. However that brings me to the downside of this item: some of the hands are too far apart that it makes holding plants with thin stems difficult. Some of them cross so they don't really serve a purpose. They're very inconsistent but when they do work they work well and hold the plant up the way it's supposed to. Because you're getting 6 of them, you'll def. get some that function well, but you'll also find yourself with a couple that you won't really know what to do with them.
