Nice thick rubber, easy to cut with a razor. It expands a little bit when pushing item through the cut I've made. Better then expected for the money.nice a thick edges should make it last a long time.

I used this grommet to insert in the hole I drilled in my resin shed to allow passage of a 10 gauge electric cord out to plug into receptacle. Fits the recommended size drilled hole with rubber flange covering both sides of the hole. There is also rubber triangles in center of grommet hole which waterproof the passageway for the cord. Excellent design and functionality!
