This is what I been looking for. Since I got multiple firearms. Instead of individual cases I have less cases to take to the range. And it takes different kinds of firearms.

Do not have anything negative to say about this case. The only reason it is being returned is I need more spaces than 6.Other than that, good case

I have had range bags, a few actually, but boy do I love this Gun Case. I can take a few of my firearms, with each and every magazine that I own, while adding my range finder, ear protection, protection glasses, and any tools/quick wipes for the firearms in case there is a malfunction. The case is really sturdy, has the necessary spaces for locks (making it TSA approved for traveling with firearms). Personally, I have a much smaller one, that fits two full size handguns or three compact ones. It is flat and easily hidden under the clothe (away from prying eyes - when traveling with a firearm refer to the airline rules and regulations). Main things to know is that you need to unload all firearms, place them in a box like this one, keep them separate from ammo, lock them, declare them to a airline representative, and wait for a go-ahead from TSA that they do not need you to open your case; if you did everything right. Small remark, make sure that the locks on the gun-case itself are neither TSA approved nor the cheapest ones you buy - you never want to have other people have access to your deadly weapons - should they need to see something, stick around and open up your highly rated locks. This case also comes with a nice surprise. The company, Doro, was actually thoughtful enough to put a dehumidifier in the case which sent me over the top for it to be a 5 star product. Guns get hot, closing the case keeps the heat inside and creates humidity, and this little, rechargeable, dehumidifier makes sure you have a smaller chance of getting rust on your handgun.I love this case and use it every time I go to a range. I doubt I would have a bad that is big enough to stick this into to check in an airplane - and there is no way I would send this as luggage just by itself (that's just asking for a unscrupulous person to steal it). Get it with no regrets - for the size, quality, and quantity of firearms that can safely fit this is a fantastic deal - given my small case cost more then half the price for 1/4 the size. Just awesome case.

I’m not going to describe the cases flimsy because it is not that. But it’s definitely not as solid as my other firearm cases. It is not the main shell of the case which seems sturdy enough but rather the components. The reasons for this are as follows. This has plastic hinges and while I have not had a failure it is an area of concern. Also the latches are quite loose. I am used to my latches being extremely tight and knees require almost no more than gravity to close them. I don’t know if there’s a way to adjust this. Hinges on the latches are plastic as well and there’s no metal reinforcing the holes where you would put a padlock to secure the case. So it would take no time at all with any tool to cut a lock off. There is the foam insert. The walls dividing the guns in the magazines are significantly thinner than what I am used to. Again I’ve had no failures but it’s not gonna take a lot of pressure for the walls to tear. This leaves me with a few concerns. There’s also less material protecting the areas between the guns and the magazines. There is no way to adjust the magazine holes for single stack and if you have a short magazine that risks falling to the bottom of the case where you may have trouble removing it.It does come with a humidity cartridge but there is no slot in the case where you can insert said cartridge. So I’m not exactly sure where to put it and there are no instructions. One thing I do like about this case are the side loops for a carrying strap. They’re a little bit thin but I have no reason to believe this plastic will fail. I certainly would feel better though if they were about twice as thick.Much of this can be overlooked considering the price of this case which is very much on the low end of the case like this. But I would just generally use these to store and transport locally. I would not check something like this on a plane nor do I think you could because of the lack of ability to securely lock it.Even though it is a hard case it’s definitely lighter duty. Still it offers a good amount of dust and humidity protection at the very least.
