I like using these on my older mowers I work on. They greatly help with the steering effort. Only issue I've run into with them is, on the john deeres I've done, I've had to grind a little off the top of the knuckles to allow for the extra thickness of these to be able to get both the washer and the retaining clip back on. Still worth the effort and will continue to use them on any mower I get in the future that doesn't have them and needs them.
