Hexagon bolt, also called hex bolt are very co mmonly used in applications with relatively large locking forces because of their sturdy structures. Its head and shape might be larger than ordinary threaded fasteners.

Soft threads on bolts or nuts. After tightening with hand wrenches (not air impact), several locked up when unloosening to reposition. I ended up breaking several bolts to remove them.

I needed 10mm longer bolts for some bar risers I was installing. The fit and finish on these was awesome, for the price I can't complain at all. Survived a whole year outside with no rust, which is surprisong with cheap stainless. Now I know my risers won't fly off.

The washers are not as advertised. They are tiny and basically the same size as the bolt head. So they're useless.

So, I thought I would save a little by ordering my SS bolt and getting my nuts from the local hardware store. Only problem was that HD did not have my nuts in stock. I went back on Amazon and order the nuts. The nut size was as advertised but the thread was not. Do yourself a favor, order you nuts & bolts together

I was assembling a stand for a smoker, but the supplied bolts and nuts were cheap and too long. These were a very good quality set, with the exact details advertised.
