I bought these for my $250.00 Squier Affinity Telecaster. I wanted a Tele and it is a great guitar for the money. But the alnico 3 pickups sounded a bit weak so I thought I'd upgrade it to alnico 5's. This product was fantastic, with only one issue. The switch plate is a little larger and the holes didn't line up. I just swapped the plates. Everything in the kit is good quality and I didn't notice a difference to the Squier parts. Nice it was all soldered and I just attached 5 wires. I put it together and tried it out. The pickups are hot and really louder compared to the Squier pickups. The highs really punch. I had to adjust my amp settings a bit but these really kick and sound full. Great price and a real upgrade for lower end Tele's.
