The texture of the solid wood handmade is great. The brown wood grain looks both retro and rustic yet modern, especially the arched front design, which is very distinctive and not as monotonous as ordinary straight boards. The overall appearance is very good. The heavy-duty bracket is also very stable when installed. I was worried that such a large wooden shelf would not be firmly hung on the wall, but it turned out to be very solid after installation. I put some decorations and photo frames on it and it didn't shake at all. The instructions are clear and the wall-mounting system is also reasonable. It can be installed without particularly complicated tools, and it is no problem for one person to do it slowly.

I love the versatility of this mantel! It works as both a fireplace mantel and a TV shelf. The distressed finish hides imperfections, and the French cleat mounting system keeps it stable and secure. Easy to install and looks great!

I’d say the price is a little high for the quality. Wood looks nice, but there were quite a few imperfections. Also the wall bracket is slightly off so it was pretty hard to install. Overall it’s a nice looking mantle, I like the arched shape a lot, but the price is definitely steep for the issues we ran into and the imperfections we found.
