This battery is a wonderful replacement for our old Greenworks 40 volt battery. It fits our Greenworks 40 volt tools perfectly. I charged it in our Greenworks charger and the battery charged fully with no problems. Our tools run longer with this battery, which is to be expected because this is a 6.0 Amp hour battery and my old Greenworks battery was 4 Amp hour. The battery doesn’t seem any heavier for the bonus extra long run time. My favorite feature of this battery is the charge status button on the back of the battery. The four green LEDs let me know how much charge remains in the battery. This battery is great value for money if you have older Greenworks 40 volt tools.

There’s not a ton to say about this battery other than it works great! Once we charged it up fully, it powered through 2/3rds of our very dense, very tall lawn for the first mow of the spring season. That is really saying something!It saved us some money compared to the name brand batteries for our electric yard tools which is always nice. It charged up quickly, lasted a long time before needing recharged and we’ve had no problems with it at all.We’ll see how long the battery will last over the long run but we’re really happy with it so far.

It always helps to get extra batteries for extensive yard work using all my battery operated 40v Greenworks tools. I maintain an extensive collection of Greenworks tools (to include my lawn mower, my string trimmer, pole saws, pole bush trimmer, chain saws, and cordless power washer). I also use the batteries for backup power when I lose power at the house with a battery adapter ac inverter to open my garage door or power up some lights. I haven't verified the 6.0Ah battery capacity, but I'm able to cut my front and backyard fully with a single charge (0.13Acre) postage stamp lot. The battery came out of the box with 75% charge. This battery fits all my tools and powers all my 40v yard tools no problem and it always helps to keep extra batteries.

Well built batteries. Plastic seems harder and more brittle than the batteries from Greenworks, but I don’t think that should really be an issue unless you drop them in concrete a bunch…which I don’t plan to do. Batteries last a long time and the charge indicator button works great. Definitely a nice alternative to the more expensive batteries.

Review for Zerrisa 6.0Ah Lithium 40V Battery Compatible with GREENWORKS 40Volt, My Greenworks 40v battery is 2 Ah battery, much lighter and thus a much shorter running time. Not to knock Greenworks, (GW) my hedge trimmer with extension pole was left by the former home owner thus it was used and looks a bit beat. However it is easier and quieter than my gasoline powered Sthil trimmer and it is cutting some old shrubs I don't want to cut with my Sthil. It charges in the GW charger with no problem and the 6 Ah powers the trimmer for the entire job, no need to recharge 1/2 way through the job.As a Vine member I did not pay for the product; never the less my review is unbiased.
