They advertised that this case was good to 60m. The first time I used it, I took it to 10m and it completely flooded the housing as well as my camera, which ultimately destroyed an expensive piece of equipment. Lesson learned: test it out without the camera prior to using the camera, but it shouldn’t be advertised as a diving housing when it can’t stand up to those extremes.

This is my go to for underwater footage in swimming pools. Keeps the camera dry as intended but the only con is it's not touch screen.

Using it for airsoft, it's not cracking.Make sure to drill out the speaker, USB plug holes or your footage will sound muffled

This fits the GoPro 8 perfectly and makes operating the camera easy via the matched sealed button controls. The film was clean and clear.I won't dunk it under the water to test it for absolute water proof, but it is sealed really nicely.

I purchased this item mostly as a screen protector. For that alone its worth the money. I dont know if its waterproof yet but I dont plan on going in deep waters with it at all. Also the sound is great as well. You can hear everyone clearly with the case and the actual footage you can't even tell you have it in a case.

I had bought the GP Rollcage case and this case. This is by far the nicest and most sleek and attractive one. It’s also $10 cheaper. Great looking product. It also come with the extra mount and thumb screw. Other than the small crack near the mode button overall can’t wait to take it to water and have it tired out. I’m returning the RollCage and keeping this. Beautifully made.

This case works absolutely perfectly with the Hero 8 Black. It offers great protection to the camera and it is really tight so for deeper dives it isa strong protection against the pressure. Even when the case is on the camera, underwater shots seem like there was no other glass on it other than the GoPro lens. This is an amazing cheap dive house for the Hero 8 and I love the screw on the bottom as well, makes it really easy to unscrew it even underwater.

Just got this and it's great! Go pro fits perfectly with no movement, shake or rattle in the case at all. The water proof case seemed to work great on my first few tests underwater and snowboarding. I live in Lake Tahoe and just tested it under some extreme situations, like being submerged for 15+ min in 40° water and withstanding a full day at Kirkwood in 7° temps and 14inches of snow falling that day. Not a single drop of water anywhere! Really solid case for the price. A few of my friends will be getting this same case.
