I used skimmer socks every year and these are perfect! I haven’t used this brand per se before but great bang for the buck!

For what they are, these fit the bill perfectly for my Doughboy above ground pool skimmer. I did try them just to catch debris, but I get a lot of leaves in my skimmer, and didn't want to stress the basket and filter. So I switch over to only using them when I vacuum my pool, and to my surprise, they work better than expected at capturing the finest of particles before they make it through the basket and into the filter. Will definitely be buying these annually.

Based off the many other positive reviews, we decided to give this a try. I agree that it helps keep the pool cleaner. I have noticed our water staying a nice blue longer. For us, we have a few trees near our pool so it needs to be changed daily. If it’s full of debris, the pump will start working harder and I’m afraid it’ll burn our pump out. It’s a soft material and easy to use. As others have said, we have a basket filter so it does cover the handle leaving you no choice but to reach your hand into filtered contents, but for its price and ease of keeping the pool clean, I would recommend this product.

They work as they should and fit the skimmer basket. I have purchased some in the past that were so small they did not fit over the basket and would tear. Be aware when you open the bag there is a very strong petroleum smell. I took them out of the original bag and that seemed to help with the smell. They’re easy put on. It takes all of 10 seconds or less to get it on the basket. They could not be easier to clean you take the old one off, throw it away and replace with a new one. Depending on the season I usually change them once or twice a week. Keep an eye on any skimmer socks you may use. Once I forgot about changing it and the chlorine just ate away at it until it was in pieces. It took me a bit longer to clean the filter. I was not happy about that but that’s on me. Over all I find that skimmer socks really helpful in keeping the filter cleaner longer which means less work for me. For what they are and do I think they are a bit over priced. However the convenience of the product off sets the price for me.

These socks work great in filtering out very small bugs and particles. We change them about every 2 weeks and they hold up very well.

Filters work like they should, but they are a little small. So installing them is a little harder then the last ones I ordered. They have held up well, and you can even clean them if you want them to go a couple days.

This is a newer version from the ones that I have been using for over 8 years. Cheaper significantly, yet as functional. Highly recommend this if you want to keep your pump and filter free of debris.
