These are just what I needed to add to my kitchen cabinets. We recently bought a house that needed a bunch of updates including updating the kitchen cabinets and giving them a bit of facelift. These shelf clips fit perfectly and there’s a ton of them in this set so you’ll have plenty to go around. They’re a little smaller than I was expecting but they seem to be holding up really great so far and working well with the old cabinetry and new shelves.

For basic shelf pins, these will do the trick, but I don't think they're as good as other similar style shelf pins that I've used. For starters, the metal pin is just slightly larger than I think it should be. It does measure out to 5.0mm according to my calipers, but when you're using shelf pin holes that measure 5 mm, an exact fit means that it's also a little bit snugger than I'd like--it's just a chore to work the pins into the hole and remove them if necessary (removal may require a pair of pliers). I think that if these were undersized by about .05mm, they would still be secure but easier to install/remove.My bigger concern is that the metal pin that makes up this shelf pin is just about 10mm long, of which, only 6.5mm extends out from the clear plastic, which is a fairly small amount of pin to extend into the shelf pin hole. That leaves about 3.5mm of the metal pin encased in the clear plastic, which also seems a little less than stout.I've used other shelf pins identical in design to these but those had longer metal pins resulting in more of the metal pin extending into the pin holes in the sides of the shelving and more metal under the shelf itself to provide good strong support.For lighter weight shelves, I think that these will be okay, but I would be careful using these on shelves with heavy loads.

I purchased to replace some clips that were aging and not looking very good. These fit in the same hole and look as good and work ass good as the originals.I only had an issue with a handful that are not rounded on the end of the pin. The round over helps the pin slide into the tight hole better.A very good, fair priced item. BTW, the big home improvement box stores don't sell these.
