The water pump kit includes Water Pump Impeller, Drive Key, Gasket, Wear Plate, Cartridge Insert, cover, O-ring, Bolts and washers.
Designed for durability to provide higher flow rates and cooling flow to protect your engine, it makes repair and maintenance of water pumps easy.
Lubricate with silicone grease, glycerin or dish soap when installing (not included).

This kit is not meant for A Yamaha F40TRLA, the impeller shaft hole is too big, so is the housing hole and the bolts are too big. I installed the old impeller as it was not damaged and a piece of rubber was in there, so should work. But had to use old bolts and am not sure the big gap between the housing and the drive shaft will cause a problem. Will install lower unit and test it, if it does not work I will return the kit for refund. Hopefully seller will send me the right parts so I can install a new impeller. All the parts were well made just not for my motor.

Parts kit fit everything but the impeller. The housing, gaskets, O-rings, metal plate shaft seal and Teflon water seal all are exact fitting parts but the impeller is ment for a larger shaft then my Yahama F40 motor so I had to purchase the correct impeller from the Yahama boat motor dealership. All the other parts are top quality exact match parts. Would have given 5 stars if not for the impeller mismatch!

Seems to be a quality unit but the included impeller inside diameter is to big for the F40 shaft. I had to go to a local store and pay $30 for JUST the impeller. Kept the rest of the kit and didn't send it back because I wanted to use the boat this week and didn't want to wait for a replacement but local part was for impeller only.

High quality full replacement kit. On a 1998 engine it was time to replace the housing along with all the internal components. This is a good quality replacement kit.
