This is a sturdy tool, but the tip is shaped like an arrow and doesn't fit into the opening of my lancome foundation bottles, which is what I needed it for. I can probably use it for other things. A little Too tiny to fit into a mayonnaise jar to scrape remains, but too big to fit into a tiny tube or bottle. I should have noted the measurements of the tool!

It's a handy small spatula with rigid ends about 1 mm thick. I've used it for spreading and mixing glue and gouging out the last bit of stick glue, lipstick, & lip balm. The size you get may vary, as I have 3 and the last one ordered is a bit smaller overall and 1" shorter (the Amazon product page has 3 different lengths in various sections).

I’d been searching for a product that would get the makeup and lotion out of the bottom of the container and this works great ! It’s small enough to get in the neck of a makeup bottle and the shape is perfect to get all that makeup and lotion on the bottom and sides of the bottle.

I own other stainless spatulas, but this one has a unique shape, with the wider than usual, flat, rounded end. Good price. I would buy it again if needed. Great for mixing product in the palm of your hand (makeup artist tip), and/or swiping some on your cheek.I have to laugh at the negative reviews: 'wasn't what I thought...'; or 'not good at de-potting my lipstick; eyeshadows; etc...' No kidding Sherlock...they buy the wrong product because they aren't really sure what they are doing then complain. Go to Home Depot and find a thin flat screwdriver and stop ordering things you have no idea about...Sorry, just had to let it out!

This came the first possible day it said it would, so no waiting for a possible time period of days for it to arrive. I have attached some photos. The more rectangular end is great for scooping sculpt gel or scar wax, etc, and then appling it to your face or any other desired area for the six makeup. The pointed end is great for picking at your wax or liquid latex to creat cuts and flappy flesh. Of course this tool could probably work for whatever you have in mind for it. The middle of this tool has a nice detailing that helps with grip.

I bought this specifically for the purpose of depotting cosmetics. It had the potential to be great, and I really hoped it would be. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The size is great, the two differently-shaped ends are great. What ruins the whole thing is how incredibly thick the spatulas are. They are way too thick for depotting cosmetics. This item is much better suited to rudimentary clay work. I was going to return it, but I think I'll give it to my 3 year old for use when I break out the clay or the Play-Doh, just to see how it goes.If you want it for depotting, STAY AWAY! If you want it because you frequently step in gum and have a recurring need to scrape it off of your shoe, then by all means, buy it and keep it on hand. I think that's probably it's best use.

I use this for so many things. When you hit pan, you can still remove what's left in the corners with this tube...this applies to lip sticks, eye shadows, blush, foundation, highlighters, etc. I also use it to scoop a little organic coconut oil to remove makeup and as a moisturizer. I've used the pointed tip to pop out lids. Will need to get more and have them around the house because this is very handy.

I bought this item to depot makeup. For what I bought it for it works. I am really not sure what its intended purpose is but I really think it works well for what I use it for. Its very strong so if you need to pry something out of a pan with it it wont break. I like that one end is flat and the other is pointed and curved it makes this tool good for many different applications.
