Worked perfect to recondition my impacts. I replaced the rings on my dewalts and milwaukee. Both worked great and now hold a socket just fine.

There are plenty of videos out there on how to replace the friction retaining rings on your impact driver. I used the one of the 3/8 rings today. It installed easily and is holding well. no reason to suspect it would change any time soon.
