Used this tool on my 2012 Ford F250 4WD to install the axle shaft vacuum oil seals, and it worked exactly as expected. The fit was precise, and it seated the seals evenly without any damage, way better than trying to improvise with makeshift tools. The build quality feels solid and durable, and the tool made what could’ve been a frustrating job pretty straightforward. If you're tackling front axle work on a Ford Super Duty (F250/F350), this tool is a must-have. Saved me time and headaches.

This seal installer works great, it sets the seal at the proper depth and square to the hub. The tool is made of steel and it is quite hefty. The edges are smooth with no sharp spots. A heavy dead blow hammer is perfect for setting the new seals.

This tool arrived fast and made installing vacuum seals on my axle and steering knuckle a breeze. The design is simple but effective - everything fit perfectly and it handled the job with no issues. After several uses, it's holding up great with no signs of wear.

Well, if you’re buying this, good luck. My truck is a 2013 f250 fx4 194,000 miles. My project was ball joints, u-joints, vacuum seals and axle seals. The tool is perfect for the job, and necessary but the job is a bugger. It’s made of high quality material, granted you’re going to be hammering it a lot so it won’t be pretty for long. It appears to be painted, which is fine, the seating faces are machined very well and with tight tolerances. It fits perfectly and exactly to both drive the vacuum seal onto the axle, and to set the axle back into the housing at the exact OEM depth for proper 4x4 function. If you’re doing super duty front axles, u-joints, ball joints, seals, anything involving removing and replacing the axles, buy the tool. And also buy a 36” pry bar to pop out the axles and a long 13” snap-ring tool you’ll thank me later. Watch some YouTube videos and good luck. I was hesitant to spend 60$ for a tool that I’ll use for 1 job, but it’s still way cheaper than paying someone to fix your truck.
