The size is great for homemade lemonade, or sweet tea and, because it's not huge, it fits easily into the fridge without being a space hog.We mostly keep tomato juice in it after opening the can, and it functions well for that, keeping it sealed and fresh and cool. The design is pretty and I think you'll like it if the price is right at the time you're shopping. Prices fluctuate on amazon, but it compares well to any other well-made pitcher.

This pitcher is surprisingly light so I am a bit concerned about it's long-term durability. It's also a bit more compact/small then I expected.That said - it's beautiful! Really adds a touch of elegance to my decor.The top has the option for a small hole opening if you want to use this for steeping things.I did take the rubber/silicone (?) seal off the top to make this a 100% plastic-free drinking container. Easily removes and can easily be put back on. The top now wants to pop out when I pour a drink but a simple finger to the top stops that.

We recently bought a juicer and needed something to put our freshly squeezed juices in, so we ordered this pitcher. Our first order somehow disappeared in shipping, after waiting a few weeks, we bought another on our own. When it arrived, we were surprised, but there are some things you just can't tell from an item listing. The item came packaged in the most minimal bubble wrap I've ever encountered. It provides about as much protection as a deflated sandwich bag. It wasn't even secured around the pitcher, just kind of on it without any tape to hold it in place. The surrounding box was paper thin. If the little box had merely tipped over on the countertop, the pitcher would have been smashed in just that packaging. Fortunately, it came in a larger Amazon box packed in plenty of padding, but even in that, I'm surprised it didn't break, the glass being so very thin and fragile.We were initially attracted to it because of its facets, which make it almost crystal-shaped. What arrived is crystal-shaped, but extremely lightweight and thin, roughly as thin and fragile as one of those thin glass test tubes you may have used in high school science class (if you used glass ones at all). The literature says it’s heat resistant, but with very thin glass this size, it seems it would break by just placing it over a heated surface.It feels like it will break if I set it down without utmost care, not something you want to be pouring juice from. We really liked the diamond pattern, the idea being that it would reflect the light, shimmering a bit as it caught lights from its surroundings. Unfortunately, that was not to be. The brand new pitcher itself is somehow full of scratch marks. I’d be embarrassed to set this out for family, let alone guests.The pitcher mouth is very small making it difficult to wash. Don't even think of putting your hand into that narrow top, or jamming a wash cloth in there: it's not a matter of if it will break, but when. Some sort of handled sponge would be appropriate, but this one has so many scratches on it that I will never show it. Its handle isn’t a separate golden handle, as I had expected, but colored glass, which seems like it was placed as an afterthought to try and make it seem better than it is.Even the lid feels very lightweight and cheap. I thought I was buying a useful pitcher or at the very least one that I could show off in a centerpiece setting. Even a vase for flowers. With all the scratches, which had to have been there when it was packed, the only thing I can think of to do with it is to return it, because even without the scratches, its extreme fragility makes it something that will certainly break.There are many better options out there than this pitcher. Save your money and aggravation and go find another option.

El estilo de esta jarra parecia muy bonito y en si me guataba por el tamaño. Honestamente no me gustó la caliada. Aunque es economico pienso que se puede encontrar algo de mucha mejor calidad a ese precio. El vidrio se ve de baja calidad ( demasiado delgado) Esto se ve barato.Me preocupa que se pueda quebrar en cualquier momento por lo fragil que se ve y siente.

This glass pitcher with a handle and lid is beautiful. The glass is quite lightweight, and while the pitcher is slightly smaller than I expected, it still serves my needs. I appreciate the elegant diamond design, and it pours water smoothly. I would recommend it.
