We live in a small apartment but I didn’t want to miss out on having a Christmas tree. We bought this and placed it on our balcony! It withstood all kinds of weather including wind! Easy to setup and to change colors! Highly recommend!

If the weather was windy or rainy the tree would not work. If we spent time trying to get it to work, sometimes we were successful other times - no. I enjoyed the tree when it worked.

This spiral Christmas tree is so much fun! It has an enormous array of colors and patterns you can set with your remote (I haven't tried the app), you can set it on a 4, 6, or 8 hour timer, and it's just adorable. The only problem is - as others have mentioned - this is not an outdoor tree, despite the seller putting the word outdoor in the heading. Because it's got a USB plug, you're probably not going to be successful keeping the moisture out on a wet or snowy day. I've kept mine strictly indoor only, and under those conditions, it works like an absolute charm. Set-up was a breeze. I'm only giving this four stars instead of five because of the "outdoor" claim, and the fact that I think that the ability to use it outdoors may be rolled into the asking price (making this tree overpriced). If they'd specify indoor only, and adjust the price point down a bit, I think the reviews would be a lot more positive, because the tree itself is great!

This has no real plug for outdoor use.It’s a USB with no adaptor.

USB power supply is not for outdoor use. Rain and melting snow got inside and shorted out the USB in less than a week. Very disappointing.

The tree is pretty, but the plug is USB only, so there's no real way to plug it in outside.

The tree looks great and the lights work fine. The remote works as advertised. My beef is with the power supply. Who put a USB plug at the end of the string for an outdoor light? Why is there not a typical AC electrical plug to plug into the wall? Fortunately for me, I had a charging outlet that I could plug the USB port into to make it work. Not what I expected and not the best solution for outdoors.

Inside or out it looks very bright it's very easy to put together the quality of the build is nice the size is perfect for any place and it's worth the value of the money
