Bought this for a mid-80s Yamaha 6HP outboard that wasn't pushing water out the tell-tale when I bought it. Pulled the lower unit and found a round stump with no fins. Definitely the impeller to blame! After pulling off the old housing/gaskets/etc and cleaning out chunks of rubber in the galleys from the old one, all of the parts included in this kit fit perfectly and assembled without any issues.Two recommendations for those who haven't changed one of these before (like I hadn't) - get a little touch of oil or silicone spray inside the housing to lubricate things while you seat the impeller in the housing. And be sure to turn the prop the right direction for FORWARD while seating the housing so the impeller blades are angled the right direction.Great product, and will certainly buy it again in a couple of years when it needs to be replaced again.

GREAT PRICE. If you know what you're doing, it is easy to install. It fixed my motors problem. Time will tell how it really does out on the river.

Great product. I needed it for my Yamaha 8hp. Very nice rubber bearings and water pump. The shell is strong and amazing. I definitely will be buying this product again in the next year when replacing my water pump!! Great product!!!
