Even though it’s labeled as Thompson’s Water Seal, this is actually the Purdy multi-tool scraper shown in the picture. Great tool with the usual high-quality you’d expect from Purdy. It’s sturdy, versatile, and well-made, making it good value for the quality. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a reliable multi-tool.

Works great for scraping, applying patching compound to small holes, and opening paint cans. Very sturdy, metal end on butt of handle can be used to strike nail pops or closing paint cans.

What's to say this is one of a home owners most versatile tools to have in your toolbox! It's useful for many things besides just painting. When I misplaced my last one in a move, I had to get a replacement almost immediately. Purdy quality is awesome and this tool will last forever. That is if you don't lose it. ;)

This is a very useful tool. I have used this to trim edge banding on Formica, and shelves (when sharp enough). Removing paint on windows. Opening paint cans. Scraping down rollers before cleaning. I always need to have one around. There is so much it can do.

Everyone should have one of these, yes they are a fantastic decorators tool but I know window fitters and other trades that have one of these, simply because they are so sturdy and practical for various jobs, even getting weeds out from between flags! If you've ever had to clean a paint roller by hand, running it under the tap, and breaking your heart every time you run it back under the tap and you get more blue, or red, or pink, or god forbid magnolia running out of it, then the roller cleaning part alone on these is worth it, they are the superhero of paint roller cleaning, you'll be using your roller on purpose just so you can clean it again with this! Actually, that last bit is a bit exaggerated but it is good.

A well thought out multipurpose tool not just for decorators. When working as a carpenter I always had a scraper in the tool bag. You would always get to a refurb and there might be a bit plaster to knock the nubbins off or smooth a surface to receive some joinery.This is where a tool like this comes into its own because of its rigidity and that it can accept hammer blows.This tool has the feel of a bolster in the hand. the handle is the right size and has a squeezable rubber coating.Can use it to set nails, scrape, wring paint from rollers, open paint tins and more.I award four ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Happy shopping.
