This is gardening and pruning game changer! Super convenient and easy to use. I ordered this specific one because the handle has much better hand guard protection so it's safer to use than some of the others available with only partial hand guards. Overall excellent price and a must-have for gardening.

Works great. Used it to clear yaupon and this takes out anything my loppers can’t handle without getting out the big chainsaw. Like that it has 4.0 Ah batteries when most others come with 2.0. Really useful in tight spaces also. Definitely recommend.

Pros: Comes with a case, an extra chain, and two batteries that have power level indicators on them. The power level indicators were huge factor influencing my buying decision. And they throw in a pair of $ store level gloves for what that's worth.Cons: It only comes with TWO chains, not THREE, as shown in their photo. Slightly misleading marketing...Now this is where the "Things to be aware of" part of the review's title comes in. Ok, let's face facts...at this price point ($40 in Aug 2024) for this saw, most of these saws of different brands are generally the same, in terms of quality, performance, and average expected longevity in regard to LIGHT duty yard work. That said, I've come to expect that due to their mass production, along with potentially dubious quality controls in regard to not only assembly, but the quality of materials and overall design, tend to play a major role in how well these saws perform. But also how long they perform at a satisfactory level before they become a $40 hole in your wallet.Knowing this, and being fairly well mechanically inclined, the first thing I did after opening the case was to check each battery's power level. Both were fully charged. I tested each in the saw, both worked perfectly with zero indication of any "bad smell", from them, or from the motor in the saw. So far so good.I then spent the next three hours completely disassembling the saw, and going through it's internals to examine it's build quality. This is what I found...The internal gears are all metal, and appear to be of good quality. But most of the grease they used during assembly, was NOT where it needed to be. Much of it was OUTSIDE the gear section's housing inside the case. I removed all of it, and relubed the gear assembly with a high quality synthetic bearing lube.Next, the internal oil reservoir's supply tubes were "sealed" with a pathetically inferior adhesive. Both in quality, and quantity. And one of the tubes was also pinched during assembly. The reservoir itself also had a good amount of fine white plastic debris (clearly from the reservoir itself, when it was drilled out during the manufacturing process), which I blew out with compressed air before reinstalling it. I put it back in, and used epoxy to seal every single connection to prevent internal leakage inside the saw.Put it all back together, and it looked no different than it did the moment I pulled it out of the box. Conclusion: After some time figuring out EXACTLY how the chain tensioning system worked, I set the tension, and took it out for a test. The saw performed flawlessly on sub 5" branches around the yard. The battery's charge lasted through about a dozen or so of those cuts. And it did cut FAST. No burnt motor/battery smell. No chain derailments. Proper oil supplied by the pump, and no internal oil leakage. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this little saw now.Final thoughts: I gave this review rating 4 stars. Why not 5? Because it's clear to me that had I NOT gone through the saw first, and "fixed" the couple of things I found inside it that weren't exactly "ideal", it's likely that I would have run into problems down the road (and likely well outside the return window). If you are someone with a basic set of tools, skills, and time, then I say go for it. If not, then "light duty" is where you need to stay with this one. And who knows for how long...good luck. Hope this helps someone with their buying decision.

This tough little chainsaw is great! Came with 2 batteries, 1 charger, 2 chains, gloves and eye protection glasses. Gloves and glasses are kind of cheaply made, but this hand chainsaw is incredible and the price didn't hurt the wallet. After hurricane Helene, I had some very big limbs break off my large tree. And this little champ could even cut thru thick logs. Very, very pleased with this product.

I'm very impressed with this product and it's ability to cut through limbs like butter. The battery doesn't last as long as I would hope it to but I purchased this for smaller projects so I don't mind that. It's easy to use and is well worth what I paid for it.

This little chain saw is super but it has some down sides. First the good news. This thing arrived just in time to help out after Hurricane Milton devastated the area. I had over 100 trees down on my property. The task of clearing them out is formidable. However, this little saw works wonders. It is so light to hold and easy to use that you almost forget it is a real chain saw. Its size and weight makes it ideal to use for cutting off limbs and bushy leaves from the tops of the trees allowing you to then get to the heavier branches with larger saws if needed. In most cases the little saw took care of 70% of the work. The batteries last a good long time. The two batteries were enough to keep working for a good 10 hour day or more. I gave out before the batteries did. Fortunately, the batteries were easier to recharge than for me to do the same. The saw has enough power to perform the job. I never had any problems with it bogging down until the very last moments before the battery needed recharging. The indicator lights on the battery are a nice feature letting you know the condition of the battery all the time. The bad news is that although this is a great concept and device it suffers from some manufacturing quality issues. First, the chain tensioner is hard to deal with. At first it would not hold for long before needing readjustments. Tightening it really tight would then lead to a problem of trying to open it again when needing adjustment. It needs improvement. Second, the oiler reservoir cap would not thread properly all the time. This caused it to be falling off and getting lost. Third, the chain guard is floppy. This caused it to be eaten up by the chain if you bumped it while cutting.Final observations: The stick on labels peeled off soon after initial use. Also, I had 1 battery problem after a day or two of use but, Amazon quickly provided a replacement.Overall, I would buy it again but I wish these weaker features would be addressed first.
