Anode rods are designed to corrode away, so they need to be replaced now and then. You get six, and a spout to rinse out the inside of the water heater. These will last us a while.

I just bought a small travel trailer, so now I'm learning all about anodes and cleaning things I never had to think about, like my black tank. This set does both. The wand is perfect for getting down into the black tank through the toilet to get some spritzing action. Plumbers tape is included, as well as the tool needed to change out the anode.
