Pies are cute when done. Must remember to flip the cutouts so that you don't end up with the pattern on the inside. Can be difficult to cut out dough, but figured it out. No directions included. Helps if you roll your dough thinner than a recipe calls for so that it isn't too thick when done.

I’m new to making hand pies so still learning amount of filling to use and sealing properly. First pies were tasty but had some fruit escape. Molds are well made and easy to use.

Unfortunately, in attempting to use these, I only found one, maybe two, shapes useable. You get what you pay for I suppose.

These cut out and put together the mini pies great. Easy to use with and pie crust recipe or purchased pie crust.

Immediately cracked these out after receiving them. One box of pie crusts from the store yielded six hand pies. The pies were gone faster than it took to make them, but they were very cute, and very easy. They washed nicely in the top rack of my dishwasher, and I will use them again for Thanksgiving, I will just buy more crust next time!

Tried to make some pies using these mold for Thanksgiving. When the cut dough is place on the mold and the filling is added, the dough sags into the mold so when the designed cut out piece is placed over, the edge don't meet. The diamond shapes do not cut all the way through no matter how thick or thin the dough is, so I spent a great deal of time, going over all the diamond shapes with a knife. If I wanted to take the time to cut the little diamonds out myself, I wouldn't have bought these in the first place.

It's still summer here, but it'll be winter before we know it and hot, handheld foods are a necessity. I wanted to get the hang of using these before that happened. So far I really like them, the only thing I might consider would be adding a reminder card/guide on how to use them, instead of relying solely on the posting for that. It's fine for me or others who bought the item, but if I were to give this as a gift to someone who doesn't know how to use these? It'd be helpful to have it for them. You will wind up using both sides of the molds--one to cut the dough, the other to fill and stuff the pies--so cleanup needs to be easy. These clean nicely in the dishwasher, I opened them up and stood them in between a couple of prongs. The only thing is either way you'll want to let these air-dry, as water will get caught on the deeper, cutter side.
