I am not impressed with the magnetic strength on these. I have two that are barely strong enough to hold a single screw and one that will pick up three screws. The others cannot even pick up a small screw. The metal durability of these are extremely good, as I had some 304 stainless screws that I mistakenly stripped when using my drill in high torque impact mode. The texture keeps them easy to hold and guide while in use, and makes things easy for swapping bits. Functionally these are great and I would consider these a good value if on sale.

I was tired of the bit extender, hoping the normal small screw bit wouldn't fall off; these bits are great because they stay in place plus the extra friction on the screw head really helps with tough screws. Also, didn't realize how much difference a good magnet would make - on the ladder, just insert the bit into a bag of small screws and you get 4 or 5 ready to install.

I got these mostly because the ad said they had “no wobbling” and I’ve had significant problems with wobbling bits when using my Dewalt® impact driver. Well, whether or not these wobble depends entirely on the driver you are using. When inserted in my Dewalt® driver with the quick change chuck, these wobble about as much as any other bit. However, when chucked into a standard drill driver with the kind of chuck you can twist to tighten, these do spin very smoothly. The main emphasis in the ad was the “high-magnetic” feature for these bits. Maybe it’s my expectation after reading the ad, but I am underwhelmed by the strength of the magnetism of these bits. Yes, they are magnetic, but I’m not sure it’s much more than any other magnetic bit or screwdriver I own. I’ve used them to pick up some screws and it was convenient but if you shake the bit, the screws are going to fall off quite easily. I’m not sure the magnetic feature is a major reason to buy these bits.Having said all that, let me be clear. These are well made bits. The heads are grooved and fit in and hold screws well. I like all the different lengths that come in the set. I also like that these are impact rated so I CAN use them in my impact driver if I choose. The rings on the shaft are smooth and make a good place to hold the bit if you need to, particularly when starting a screw.Overall, these are definitely worth having and I’m glad I got them. When used with a drill that supports the shaft well, they have very little wobble. The magnetism is only so-so. The workmanship is very good and despite the criticisms above, I recommend this set. They are very well made.

So far not impressed if they are such strong magnetic strength I can barely get it to pick up anything.
