These are perfect for the DIYers that work on cars and are tired of making a mess. I wish I had these in the past. It would have saved me from having transmission and radiator fluid get on me.These tools are made of a solid plastic that won't ruin the hose you are clamping. I know we have all used some locking pliers that has marred up the rubber. These are more more gentle and did not mar the hose I tested it on.It's a very affordable investment that will last you for a very long time and save you time by having the right tool to do the job and not hunt in your box for something that might work.

I was able to use the smallest option and the one above it on a few fourwheelrs while trying to remove the gas tanks. They held up nice for the 4 times I have had to use them. The thickness of the plastic reassures me that it will not brake or fail on me while it is clamping down. I will update if they ever fail. Fast shipping too.

These hose pinch-off pliers are made of fiberglass reinforced ABS plastic and should be just as durable and practical as any other brand. For the price, they're a bargain. I will say that from my experience I prefer the steel vice-grip style better, however these are a good budget option. The only issue you might have with these is if you're trying to hold back any amount of pressure with them. They're primarily just for removing a hose without losing all the fluid inside it. I wouldn't try to leave them on with a vehicle running, or anything like that... they just don't apply enough force, and they will leak in that situation. As long as you understand their intended use, they're a good product.
