Product Description

.

The role of the fuse:

When the circuit fails or is abnormal, the rising current may damage some important components in the circuit, burn the circuit or even cause a fire. If the fuse is correctly placed in the circuit, the fuse will fuse itself to cut off the current when the circuit abnormally rises to a certain height or the temperature reaches the melting point of the fuse, thereby protecting the safe operation of the circuit.

I got these for use in a pinball machine. They work well, and are a decent price at the time of this review (20 fuses for $6.99) as long as you only need a few. Pinball part dealers will often sell large quantities for a cheaper unit price, but I didn't need that many.PROS:- Properly described (6x30MM 10A 250V Slow Blow Glass Fuses 10 Amp).- Arrived intact.- They work!

It's always good to keep a stock of fuses around to fix things that blow fuses. Always replace fuses with the exact same amperage and type (fast blow or slow blow if known). Never use the wrong sized fuse in your device or it may start a fire. And, if you put the correct fuse in your device and it immediately blows again, then your device is defective and needs to be repaired. What I don't like about these fuses is that once you take the wrapper off, the box isn't that clear as to what it is unless you sort of memorize what T10 or F10 means. So I had to mark mine. And these are not UL listed so they have not gone through safety and fire testing for US.

These fuses are exactly as shown in the listing, including the little box the come in. I wished they had shipped them in the standard 5 pack boxes, where the fuses won't rattle around so much, but they'll end up in a parts bin anyways.I know from experience, that the following Icom radios take a 20 amp fuse: IC-751, IC-2100H, IC-2820H. If you radio puts out at least 50 watts of power, it will probably take a 20 amp or larger fuse, but check your manual or old fuse.
