Fits my Sanding Disc's PerfectlyUnique Ergonomic Shape to the top portionHas a Soft, but firm velcro that is good for secure bonding to the hook and loop style discs.Time will tell how long it lasts.it depends on the type of work you do.the other manufacturer's one I used that I destroyed was because I was on the roof standing down some plywood edges before placing a bathroom exhaust fan top hood.Most of the time I'm just sanding the edges off of bare wood with no risk of hitting anything metal or asphalt which is how I kind of lost the bottom off that other one.It'll be a Handyman partner for speed sanding using my angle grinder.

Perfect for use with most brand angle grinders. Easily installs on 5/8" spindle. Hook and loop surface securely hold foam buffing pads. Very solid and well made.

Nice light backer pad. Seems to work well. Velcro seems strong. I’ve only given it a brief test run; I’ll have to use it on a project to see how the velcro holds up under heavy use. There is a slight wobble (spindle not perfectly perpendicular to disc) in the one I got; I’ll have to see how much that affects things as I go, or if it levels out as it gets broken in.I carve/sculpt delicate shapes out of stone, so I like a backer pad that 1) is light-weight so it doesn’t jar the delicate thin stone, and 2) yield enough to follow the flowing contours of my work, yet which still provides enough resistance so that I can bear down on it as I sand or polish the stone.

This screws right onto the shaft of my grinder and opens up the possibility of using it for so many more applications. Now I can use it for sanding and polishing, paint removal, etc. Great concept and execution!

A good quality 6" hook and loop style pad for my buffer. My old one had the hook & loop part come de-laminated from the foam face after using it for only a few minutes! Luckily, no similar issues with this one so far. The stiff foam backing allows it to deform slightly to the contours of the surface you're working on. Screws right onto my 5/8 buffer spindle no problem, and does the job admirably. Recommended.

This arrived and is exactly as described. Dimensions are right, the foam pad is decently stiff while still having some give. It fits my angle grinder and the hook and loop provides a strong hold. I don’t have anything bad to say and would 100% recommend this if you’re considering it!
