This is pretty convenient. They are a little flimsy but have not broken yet (I've had them for about 3 weeks).Washing is okay. I take one out a day and clean them when it's down to the last tray. Cleaning is easy enough with a spraying on stream, but it kind of goes everywhere. It's drying that takes a little time. If I werent' in sunny CA, this might need to be done with paper towels.Overall, it beats shoveling cat poop every day. Clean once a week is better than shoveling every day!

Easy to use, clean and YES, it is durable but not heavy to use. Just ordered my 4th one for the garage cats. I scoop most days andsifted before cleaning the tray as I am one of those crazy litter box cleanpeople. I use dawn/white vinegar combination and it co es out perfect. A quick dry in the sun and under the others. I have evensplit up the trays for an extra emergency litter box, just use a plastic bin under open trays. So worth the price.

I purchased this litter pan after having bad luck with other sifting models, and no luck with sifting liner bags. This system works well because the sifting portion is composed of "slats," rather than the "grid" pattern of some others. So far we haven't had any issues with wet litter clumps sticking after sifting. The size is great... my 11 and 14 lb kitties have room to turn around and don't look cramped. The recyclable pans are a plus. I have been reusing them, just wiping with pet-friendly wipes. The pans are rather flimsy and slippery to grip when sifting. They are a little speedy (we have two boxes), but competitive with other similar products.

Edit: Now that we have been using this pan for a while - I have completely changed my mind. Very frustrated and disappointed. Clumping litter sticks to the pan and is a pain to scrape off the bottom. Then it has to be rinsed out because scraping isn't enough to CLEAN the box. Living in the Midwest-cleaning outside is not possible all the time and can't clean in the bathroom as the litter is not good for the septic system. Ultimately this actually takes me twice as long as before. I would have a hard time suggesting this litter pan to anyone - unless a better option for litter becomes available.Original post: This litter pan is great as far as doing its job. I was surprised at how 'flimsy' the trays were, yet they seem to be very sturdy. I was amazed that the litter and urine did not fall through the slots when trays are aligned properly. (make sure you are lining the notches up correctly)I have two cats and clean the litter box twice daily. This pan has made life much more simple and our litter is lasting much longer due to the natural sifting of the trays.

Great and easy to use! Saves so much time and hassle over cleaning a traditional litter box. Just for the convenience it is worth the money. The disposable pan can be cleaned and re-used saving you money. You can just throw out any clumped litter that you pull up, quick rinse and re-use. Our 2 cats had no problem using the box and the litter stayed fresh each time we removed one layer of the pan.

This litter pan, is super easy to use, light weight, and durable. It's the perfect pan to use for the elderly, disabled and busy parents of today's world. No poop scoop needed this by far is one of the best products I've come across, my cat enjoys the spacious area he has to use rather being confined to a tight enclosed space to do his business. The product is exactly as the description states it is. Just an awesome product. Definitely going to recommend to my fellow cat lovers!

It's ok. It's almost the same amount of work as scooping, by the time you pull the pan, try and get all the litter off and through the cracks, try and throw it away without spilling the remainder on the floor as it falls through the cracks, you'd be done scooping. The pans can get dirty, have to rinse them off. It is a bit flimsy, but it works fine.

The concept is great; the design is terrible| The pans are too thin, every time I picked up the one with the litter to sift it, if folded up on me and I got litter everywhere, including between the pans that they said couldn't happen. The sides are way too short, my cat kicked litter all over the floor every time she covered up her business. I wanted to return it and get my money back, but there's no place on their website to find out if there is a warranty, or where I could return it to for my refund. I wasted good money that I could have spent at Petco where I ended up getting a sifting litter pan that almost fits my needs.
