I didn't know how much I'd like these until they arrived. They are so useful! They are fairly large, so even though they take up more space, they hold quite a bit. These are great for kids to save their artwork in. They are great for grown-ups to keep all sorts of things in. Office papers, restaurant menus, keepsakes -- you get several so your options are endless. They are fairly well made so they'll hold and protect whatever you put inside. I recommend them.

I have used other brands of 11x14 inch plastic envelope-style folders in the past, but I like these more than any of the other ones I have tried. The main reason is the polyester/nylon gusset on the sides which allows for the storage of a much larger stack of papers than the usual 11x14 inch folder. If you have only a few pages, the gusset collapses out of the way so the folder is still secure, but as you add more papers, it expands. I was able to fit a three-inch-high stack of papers in one of these folders and still close the snap top without any danger of the folder bursting. The scoring on the top of the closure also facilitates stuffing this folder full of papers without sacrificing any functionality whether you have only a few sheets or the full three inches of papers in the folder. All the seams are securely stitched with no loose threads, and my overall impression is that this is a high quality set. I also enjoyed the colors - which are just as shown in the manufacturers product description. And I liked the included labels which gave plenty of room for a detailed description of the contents or could even be used to note when the folder was last added to or updated. A business card could also be inserted in the label slot if you wanted to use these folders for a professional presentation of some kind. While not airtight, nothing bigger than a binder clip will fall out of these, even when turned upside down. The snap closure stands up to repeated use at least as well as the Velcro closures I was used to. These do weigh a bit more than the plain 11x14 poly envelope-style folders I had used in the past, so they may not be the most efficient for mailing, but for stacks of papers that get handled a lot or need to be stored and accessed on a regular basis, these are great.

These colorful plastic folders have been helpful in getting my important papers organized, which has been much needed. They look nice either expanded or kept flat. The snaps are well-positioned and effective, and the stitching seems solid. At the bottom where the binding overlaps, they use back-stiching as well as glue to keep things from coming unraveled. My only complaint is the absolutely unnecessary, unconscionable amount of plastic packaging... There is NO NEED to individually wrap each of these plastic products IN PLASTIC and then to stick them all in yet ANOTHER PLASTIC bag. This is why I can't rate the product 5-stars, because the company is not even trying with eco-friendly practices.

Great for when you have a large number of papers to keep together. No worries about them falling out thanks to the snap closure on the flap. It’s very secure but opens and closes easily. I have several manuals of various sizes that I need to keep together and this is so much better than a regular folder or just letting them slide around loose in a drawer.

I have already found many uses for these file folders. The have a snap closure to keep things together. A good place to keep all those kitchen appliance manuals. Also gathering all my papers for tax prep. And very good looking way to take materials to my community meetings.

A great variety of colors for these folders. Love that they are expandable. Documents fit fine, but the folders were just a bit too big for my file cabinet. They seem really sturdy and should hold up well to me removing and adding papers to each one.

I got this pockets folders for legal papers and projects. I love that they expand to almost three inches and have a flap closure with a snap, so I am not worried about losing papers if I drop one. The plastic and stitching are very sturdy and the variety of colors helps me organize in addition to the label on the flap. These would be great for students who have various projects.
