I used to wear shorter "ankle socks" (those that cover the ankle bone) and liked them. Then, I wore calf socks. I am not as much a fan of those, particularly in summer. I thought I might go back... but these are actually a bit shorter of ankle socks than I'm used to, only reaching just below the ankle.The first thing I did with these was to wash them. I was pleased that they neither shrunk, nor did they lose a lot of fluff. This suggested to me that they might last a while, except for one concern I'll get to later.The socks are comfortable and fit me well. I wear size 9.5 shoes and the M-L work great. I wonder, however, if they actually will fit someone with size 12 feet, as the heels just fit me. I would think with size 12 feet, the M-L size would come up short. They are stretchy, so I might be wrong.The heel tabs are OK. I don't know that I needed them, but beyond pulling them on, they might actually help prevent them from falling down when wearing shoes.Now, on to the seams. I think people with seam sensitivity might like these - there doesn't seem to be much of any bump that would irritate someone. However, on all my pairs there are what look like loose threads hanging inside the sock from where the seams would be. This makes me wonder if, over time, they might fray and cause the socks to fall apart. Time will tell.For now, though, these are comfortable for me.

Very comfortable and keep feet dry and warm. Totally worth the price. Medium thick and non-slip ankle design make it much more better!

Monxiery socks are 100% cotton and seem good so far. Comfortable for me.

I bought these as XLs and when put on slides off feet when taking shoes off. I have a size 13 shoe. Also shrinks and fades a lot after first wash rendering these as throw aways. Not worth it.
